Owner stylist PaTrice Michelle leads the salon and works with textured hair in many forms, from relaxer-free and kinky to curly, coily, wavy and locked styles.

Services are grouped into Natural Hair, Locs, Texture Locs and Dreadlocs, Healthy Hair Add-Ons, Haircolor, and Extensions & Braids. Pricing is a la carte, each service is timed and chosen individually when you book, and listed prices are minimums. Several services can be combined in one appointment. Haircolor and extensions start with a consultation: coloring must be done in person and cannot happen the same day, while braid consultations and non-chemical services such as a silk press or loc retouch can be same day. A free virtual consultation can also be booked through the website.

New clients start through the New Guest page, and existing clients book through the online booking link, which runs on an independent booking site where clients create an account and save a card on file. Appointments can also be requested by email, and a waitlist form covers services not listed online. A $5 Grace add-on adds 15 minutes for clients who need extra time; late arrivals without it face a $15 inconvenience fee, and arriving more than 30 minutes late without calling counts as a no-show. Cancellations made less than 7 days ahead carry a $100 fee, and cancellations within 24 hours are charged the full service.

Parking is in the paid garage behind the salon on Lewis Street, shared with The Barton Apartments, and clients who park there can have parking validated inside the suite by sending a photo of their license plate. Free street parking is available along Greenville Avenue. Appointments on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday need advance approval and carry VIP pricing. Early-morning or day-off appointments are offered at premium pricing plus a 20% auto gratuity and are booked by email only. The salon also runs a points program: one point per dollar spent, 100 points equal $1, points can be redeemed after 1,000, and maintenance services such as trims and conditioning treatments earn double points.

Built around helping clients love their hair naturally, without lye relaxers. Product lines and regimens are chosen after research and set during consultation, and the salon states its products are not 100% natural.
