Meke The Salon is led by owner Meke Stephens, a stylist with more than 25 years of experience. The salon describes itself as Dallas' premier salon.

The salon aims to give each client a personalized experience, shaping each treatment around that client's needs. The menu covers haircuts, color, natural hair care, styling, braids, hair extensions, makeup, facials and body waxing, and also includes eyebrow shaping, eyelash extensions and scalp massage. Stylists work as independent stylists on the salon's team.

New clients start with a consultation, a 15-minute visit that costs $50. If they go on to book, $25 of that fee is applied toward services and the other $25 is non-refundable. The salon contacts consultation requests within 72 hours. All appointments are booked online through the salon website, and first-time clients pay a 50% non-refundable deposit when booking. Appointment deposits are non-refundable, and cancelling or rescheduling needs at least 24 hours' notice, with later cancellations charged 50% of the scheduled services to the card on file.

The salon is open Tuesday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 3 PM, and is closed Sunday and Monday. A coat rack sits at the entrance and hooks near the stylist areas hold purses. Lite snacks and drinks are sold, bottled water is offered as a courtesy, and Wi-Fi is available. Children are only allowed when they are being serviced. Eating is not permitted in common areas, and clients are asked to avoid speakerphone and FaceTime calls unless using AirPods or a headset.

Each client receives a personalized experience, with treatments tailored to their needs.
