About

Xyyla Skin is built on the belief that skin reflects the state of the whole body, so its facials and treatments take a whole-body view. The studio is in Phoenix and its services fall into three groups: facials, targeted treatments and body treatments. Founder Jayme Berg leads the work alongside holistic esthetician Gabby Golf.

Facials are tailored to the client and can blend lymphatic drainage, connective tissue and fascia work, buccal massage and other methods. Seven named facial options are offered: The Foundation, The Flow, The Embody, The Bloom, The Sensory, The Release and The Teen. According to the salon, the facials are meant to support skin health and the nervous system, and may help lessen puffiness and soften the look of aging. Add-ons include Gua Sha, face mapping with facial reflexology, an extended scalp ritual and intraoral buccal massage.

Targeted treatments are dedicated sessions focused on particular modalities: Vodder manual lymphatic drainage, lymphomodelling, connective tissue and fascia release, intraoral buccal sculptural work, and microneedling with secretome and acorn. Several of these can be paired with add-ons, including intraoral buccal work, Vodder drainage and connective tissue and fascia work.

Body treatments currently include lymphatic massage, which uses hands-on work the business links to circulation, lymphatic flow and whole-body regulation. Body sculpting is listed as coming soon. According to the business, its facials can be designed for hormone-related concerns and for prenatal, postnatal or nursing clients, and are suitable for clients undergoing or who have completed oncology treatment. The site notes that its information is educational and not medical advice.

Visits include complimentary water or tea, a request to silence phones, and a shoe-free treatment room. Bedding, towels, robes and linens are washed with fragrance-free organic detergent. Clients who are vegan can ask for honey and beeswax to be left out of facials when booking. Clients are asked to bring a reusable bag for purchases. The studio also accepts sign-ups for a model waitlist.

Xyyla Skin treats the skin as a reflection of the whole body and takes a holistic, plant- and flower-based approach to skincare. The business states it uses natural, nature-derived, organic and cruelty-free products and avoids parabens, synthetic fragrance, phthalates, sulfates, petrochemicals, synthetic colorants and ethoxylated ingredients whenever possible.
