Every visit starts with a consultation so the look can be shaped around the guest. Arriving guests are offered herbal tea or fruit-infused water. Hair services come with a small sensory add-on, and women booking Shampoo, Cut & Finish receive a complimentary makeup refresher while men receive a face refresher. Colour and texture services require a 30-minute consultation first, priced at $25. The salon is open Tuesday through Friday, and on alternate Saturdays. Children are welcome with a scheduled appointment, and cell phones are asked to be kept on silent.
The salon sources hair, makeup, skincare and lifestyle products from companies that ethically source ingredients, do not test on animals, and use as many organically grown raw materials as possible. Most of its brands are fully vegan or moving that way, and the lines carried include Aveda, Back Of Bottle, GrayLabl and Intelligent Nutrients. The salon describes its mission as a relaxing, balanced environment with consistent, reliable service.
