Wig work is a major part of the menu. Lace closure and lace frontal wig installs take about an hour and a half, with lace wigs required to be HD or transparent, and extra bundles can be sewn in for $25 each. Custom-made closure and frontal wigs are installed in a similar appointment, but the client brings their own hair three days before the visit, and that appointment covers the install only.
Sew-ins and quickweaves come in closure, frontal and leave-out versions, with closure and frontal sew-ins including up to three bundles. The Winslux Pixie Full Works is the studio's signature service, a two-hour session that includes a haircut or style of choice, a virgin relaxer, hydration, deep conditioning, a temporary color rinse and a finished style. Relaxer retouches, mold-downs and waves cover the rest of the pixie menu.
The at-home service takes about three hours and is offered on Mondays and Tuesdays only. Pricing depends on the service requested and the location, and is quoted by phone after a request is submitted. A 30-minute personalized consultation costs $20 for clients who want to plan a style first.
Each session is planned around the client's own hair and the look they want, with a paid consultation available beforehand to settle on the style, service and method.
