Because train tracks can slow traffic, the salon suggests arriving at least 15 minutes early, especially on weekends and during holidays.

Every visit is booked ahead. Before scheduling color, clients complete an online consultation form that asks which services they want, how they heard about the salon, their natural hair and daily routine, how they would rate their hair's condition, and photos of their current length, color and regrowth. The form also asks about professional or non-professional chemical or color services in the past two years, since those can react with new processes, and whether they have taken a medication with a strong effect on hair in that period, without requiring details. An in-person consultation costs $40 and is deducted from the total if services are booked during it. The online consultation has no charge.

Color work includes toning, shadow root, single process color, highlighting and balayage. Cuts are offered in barber, medium and long/extra thick lengths, along with corrective cuts. Treatments include botanical treatments with or without a service and a Brazilian Blowout. Prices are listed as starting points and may change.

A valid card must be on file to book. Accepted payments are Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Venmo, Zelle and cash at the time of service; checks are not accepted. A $100 deposit is required for color corrections, full blonding, creative or vivid color and multi-step color. It is applied to the total at checkout and is nonrefundable with less than 72 hours' notice. Cancellations inside 36 hours cost 50% of the service the day before and 100% the same day. Late arrivals without enough time for the booked services are treated as cancellations. Gift cards are valid for services only, expire one year after issue, and cannot be returned, redeemed for cash or used to buy another gift card.

Only guests receiving a service may be inside the salon, and children are not permitted. Clients who have a fever or illness in the 48 hours before an appointment are asked to reschedule.
