The salon's approach centers on keeping curls, coils and locs healthy and defined through routines and treatments suited to each client, with simple care at home. Myriam listens to what a client wants and will not push a cut or style that the client is not ready for. The salon welcomes all curl patterns and hair densities and describes itself as a safe space for them.

Services are booked by appointment only, with availability Monday and Wednesday through Saturday. Clients can request a time through the website, which opens bookings 60 days ahead. New clients complete an intake form after their first booking, and service preparation instructions arrive by email and in a Welcome Packet.

Beyond individual services, the salon offers packaged Sessions chosen by hair goal: Transform My Hair for a new color, cut or both (including starting a loc journey), Maintain My Hair for root touch-ups, loc retwists or treatments for a current style, and ReNew My Hair to detox, strengthen, hydrate and trim curls or locs. Every session starts with a cleanse, a hydrating treatment, scalp massage and an exfoliating scalp scrub. Each visit includes an aromatherapy shampoo, a personal styling lesson and post-care product guidance. The salon does not offer silk presses, so the focus stays on healthy, defined curls and coils.

Before booking some color services, clients must have a color consultation with Myriam, who approves the plan first. In-person and virtual consultations are each 10 minutes for $30 with a $25 deposit; virtual sessions run on a Google Meet link sent on the appointment day.
