Miranda runs the studio herself, so each visit is one-on-one and appointments are never double booked.

Color is the salon's main focus. Hair color is made without PPD, ammonia, PTD or resorcinol, and color services steer clear of harsh chemicals. A color consultation includes a patch test and takes about 30 minutes, reviewing hair history, color goals, and any past reactions or sensitivities. According to the salon, the patch test is not a substitute for allergy testing by a dermatologist, and clients with a history of significant allergic reactions might be asked to get professional testing before color.

Highlights run from single-service and maintenance visits to the Signature Lived-in Highlight, which combines custom dimensional highlights, a root smudge or gray touch-up, personalized toner or gloss, and a blow dry and style. Vivid, punky and fashion colors use several techniques and take three to six hours, with timing arranged by email. Haircuts come in three levels for maintenance, detailed finishing and larger changes, and each includes a shampoo, a customized cut, a blow dry and a style. A formaldehyde-free keratin treatment is also offered, which the salon describes as forming a protein barrier that reduces frizz for up to five months.

Booking is done online. New guests complete a questionnaire, and Miranda may email to confirm the right services. Clients receive a text 72 hours before and a reminder 24 hours before the visit through Vagaro. Color clients are asked to wash with clarifying shampoo the evening before, use no other products and skip washing on the day of the appointment. Haircut clients are asked to arrive with their hair dry and styled as they usually wear it.

Prices are starting prices and may change. Cancellations or reschedules need 48 hours notice, and changes made with less notice carry a 50% fee. A second late cancellation, reschedule or no-show is charged the full service cost, and future visits require prepayment. Guests 15 or more minutes late may not receive every scheduled service. Services are not refundable, while unused retail products can be exchanged for full credit within 30 days. Payment is accepted by credit card (a 3% processing fee applies), Apple Pay, cash, check, Zelle and Venmo, and Buy Now, Pay Later is available for in-person bookings from $50 to $4,000 after approval.
