Wicked Hands

Wicked Hands is owned by Yami, who also works as a stylist. The salon describes itself as an LGBTQ+ alternative salon and says everyone is welcome, whatever their identity or style.

The menu centers on hair. Consultations are available for clients who want to talk through a change first. Creative color and haircuts are the main bookable services, and the team's known work includes vivid color blocks, prism work, rainbow looks, raccoon stripes and calico colors, alongside edgy alternative cuts, shaggy layers and gender-affirming cuts.

Booking takes a valid credit card on file. Cancellations inside 48 hours of an appointment carry a fee, extended to 72 hours during November and December. The fee is $35 for haircuts, $85 for color services and $150 for extension services. A no-call, no-show or same-day cancellation is charged the full cost of the service, and clients with a no-call, no-show must leave a deposit before booking again. There is a 15-minute grace period; arriving after it means paying half the service price and rescheduling. Adjustments are free within 5 days of the original appointment, and refunds are not given.

The salon is open Monday, Thursday and Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Tuesday and Wednesday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Sunday from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm.
