Each appointment is one-on-one in a private home studio, with one braider, one chair and one client, and no waiting room or wait on arrival. Before the visit, hair should be washed, deep conditioned and fully detangled, and each style page gives its own prep steps. Appointments can be rescheduled through the dashboard, ideally at least 24 hours ahead to avoid fees.

Prices are set by style, size and length, and the listed figures are starting prices. Knotless pricing rises with length: a medium knotless is listed from $225 at bob or shoulder length and $315 at butt length. Most styles take under nine hours, and estimated times are given for each style and variant. Some services include hair in the price, while others ask the client to bring their own; each listing says which.

A deposit of roughly one quarter of the service price is due at booking and goes toward the total. Cancellations made 24 or more hours ahead receive a full deposit refund, while late cancellations may forfeit it.
