Wellness Touch

Wellness Touch was opened in early 2015 by owner Monnica Mataya, a licensed esthetician and certified massage therapist, and operates as Wellness Touch, Inc. The business is located inside Phenix Salon Suites in La Quinta. Its clientele is built largely on referrals and long-term relationships with clients.

The facial menu is built on Eminence handmade organic skin care, made in Hungary from hand-picked and hand-mixed fresh ingredients. The line is free of parabens, animal by-products, propylene glycol, sodium lauryl sulfates, harsh colorants and fragrances, mineral oils and petroleum. Services are grouped under Facials. The Signature 'Estheticians Choice' facial is a 70-minute customized treatment. The 90-minute Nirvana Facial adds a head massage and a foot massage, and the LED Facial pairs a signature facial with LED light therapy. Microdermabrasion Facial combines diamond microdermabrasion with a signature facial, and the Intraceuticals Custom Oxygen Facial is an oxygen-based treatment. The Back Facial is a 50-minute treatment for the back. The Ultimate Facial runs two hours and lets clients choose a Nirvana or Microdermabrasion Facial, plus a back scrub and Swedish back massage.

Cancellations need 48 hours' notice. A cancellation made within 24 hours of the appointment incurs a fee of 50% of the scheduled services, and a same-day cancellation is charged the full price of the scheduled services.
