Monnica Mataya

Monnica Mataya owns Wellness Touch and works as a licensed esthetician and certified massage therapist. She is also an authorized distributor of Eminence Handmade Organic Skin Care of Hungary. She received her esthetician license in 2008 and trained in the esthetician program at the International School of Beauty.

Her career in the spa industry began in 2008, when she joined the team at Mirela's Spa du Jour La Quinta as it launched. She worked for Mirela Marinescu, who owns the International School of Beauty and three day spas. She opened Wellness Touch in early 2015.

She studied massage therapy in 2009 and added hand, foot, shoulder and scalp massage to her facials. She keeps up with advanced skin care training from international professionals three to four times a year. Her clientele is built largely on referrals and long-term client relationships.
