Waxing is done with hard wax, which the salon describes as stripless. EpilaDerm is offered as an enzymatic option on several bikini and Brazilian packages; the salon says it reduces hair regrowth over time and can help with ingrown hairs. Men's services include ears, back, chest, stomach and Manzilian, with multi-visit packages, and women's services range from above-the-waist areas to full face threading.

Facials are offered at three levels, chosen by the time available, preferred techniques and suitable products. Level 1 is conditioning work for lightening, brightening, tightening and hydrating. Level 2 is resurfacing for signs of aging, acne, hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles. Level 3 is advanced resurfacing for deeper wrinkles and more advanced concerns, using several resurfacing solutions. Facials use Lira professional spa products. Prices run from $99 for Dermaplane with Basic Facial to $275 for Impact PDRN Proaging.

Visits can be booked online through Vagaro, by phone at (925) 385-7211, or by email at bookonline@waxapeel.com. Complimentary champagne is offered to guests, and the space is decorated for waxing, skincare, airbrush tanning and lash services. Package pricing takes 10% off 3-packs, 15% off 6-packs and 20% off 12-packs, and bridal packages combine facials, waxes and spray tans. Cancellations must be made at least four hours before the appointment; later cancellations, and arriving more than 10 minutes late, may carry a 50% service fee unless rescheduled.

Treatments are matched to each client: facials are built around the time available, the techniques a client prefers and the products best suited to their skin.
