Each visit opens with a conversation about what the client likes and dislikes and how they want their hair to fit into their daily routine. Stylists are upfront about what a given head of hair can and cannot do. The studio sees open communication as the foundation of a good haircut.

Haircut services cover beard trims, neck and bang trims, buzz cuts, kids' haircuts for ages 12 and under, short and long haircuts. Color is grouped into color with a haircut and color only, each either going lighter or going darker. Color is decided through a consultation, which can be held in person or by email, and the consultation itself is a separate 30-minute booking. Lighter color services take longer than darker ones, so timing depends on the change being made.

Clients can choose the music played during their appointment, and the studio offers free parking nearby.

The studio starts from a conversation about each client's preferences and daily routine, and is candid about what the hair can realistically do.
