Wash~Day

Wash~Day is built around curly hair care, with cuts for curls of all textures, densities and patterns, plus color, skincare, waxing, and brow and lash services. The salon describes its space as comfortable and relaxed, with the aim of letting each client be themselves, and says it is committed to community care and welcomes people of all backgrounds.

The curly cut menu opens with the New Curlies cut, priced from $250. That price covers a pre-cut consultation, a cut shaped to the individual, a spa mist, a detox step, a moisturizing wash, and a curl transformation. The Deluxe upgrade, from $325, adds a scalp scrub and a conditioning treatment. Returning clients whose last curly cut was no more than four months earlier pay from $200. Guests coming back between full cuts can book a dry-only Express cut from $150. Hair should arrive washed within the previous two days, detangled, and air-dried with little or no product. If hair comes in already styled, a $65 prep fee applies. The wash and go is the only style included. Curly cuts are scheduled Wednesday through Saturday. Children aged 3 to 9 can book curly cuts on one Sunday each month. Email inquiries are taken for 30-minute curl consultations, held either virtually or in person.

Facials are based on a skin analysis. The Welcome Facial ($175, 75 minutes) is designed for first-time clients, and the WashDay Embrace Signature Facial runs 60 minutes for $195 or 90 minutes for $225, with a cleanse, exfoliation and customized mask. LED light and booster ampule add-ons are $40 each, and clients can take home the leftover ampule. Acne treatments ($225) are customized plans for melanated skin using the Face Reality Skincare line, and the salon says it uses microbiome-safe products.

Color appointments take two to four hours, and root touch-ups start at $100, all-over color for virgin hair at $225, and highlights or balayage at $285. Base prices may rise depending on the result, amount of product and time needed. New color clients have a consultation to check that their hair is healthy enough for color. Returning clients seen within six months request color by email; others submit a color form. Waxing includes Full Face for $70, single-area facial waxing for $15, and full-body waxing from $15 to $70 booked online. Brow Design is $55, and brow shaping and brow tint are $30 each. A Lash Lift and Tint is $150, with the lift at $110 and the tint at $50 when booked alone; the salon says the lash lift and tint can last up to six to eight weeks.

Booking requires a non-refundable 25% deposit toward the service. Appointments can be rescheduled up to 48 hours ahead through the link in the confirmation email, and the deposit can be moved once. Cancellations within 48 hours forfeit the deposit and incur a charge of 50% of the appointment; no-shows who do not contact the salon are charged the remaining balance. Face and body services carry no refunds or rescheduling for missed or cancelled visits. Arrivals have a 10-minute grace period and should text if running late. Children under 3 are not permitted, children 3 to 9 may attend only for their own service, and under-16 appointments need a consent form. Extra guests and pets are not allowed unless confirmed before arrival, and smoking is not permitted.
