Smart Pedicure uses disc-based files in a range of abrasiveness and sizes, with no cutting tools and no softening oils or creams. The attachments are disposable. The salon recommends a Smart Pedicure monthly, and more often for problem feet, and says feet stay smooth for at least three weeks. It also says the service has no contraindications and can be done for pregnant clients and for people with diabetes or fungal foot conditions. For clients moving from dip or acrylic, the transition to gel ($200, about 2 hours 15 minutes) removes the existing product, applies a Russian manicure, then a gel overlay.
