The brow work centers on the Custom Eyebrow Experience, a six-step appointment. It opens with a planning conversation about a client's brow care history, hair and skin type, and a routine to maintain the brows at home. Next the brow area is measured and mapped with chalk line, brow paste, or a mapping pencil, chosen for skin type and facial structure. The tint can range from a subtle enhancement to a bolder brow and is applied with brow paint brushes. Unwanted hairs outside the map are then waxed and tweezed, or the brows can be shaped without wax. Lamination follows to smooth unruly hairs, add fullness, and lift the brow. The appointment ends with a lesson on home maintenance using gels or pencils.
