The salon has been run by its owner, Shovan Brown, for over 28 years. The menu centers on relaxers and relaxer retouches, several forms of silk press for natural hair, spiral and rod sets, Wave Nouveau (Jerry curl) and a wide range of weaves, including quick weaves, sew-in weaves, crochet weaves, micro links and I-tip extensions. Many prices are listed as starting points, since length, hair density or style changes the final cost.

Some services need planning. Quick weaves and braidless micro links require a signed waiver, and I-tip extensions need a consultation to check candidacy and a waiver before service. Hair is not included with the I-tip extensions. Silk press services are offered to children ages 12 and up.

New clients can use Groupon silk press offers on Tuesday through Thursday, though the offers are limited to people who have not visited before. Red light infrared scalp treatment is offered as a 15-minute treatment on its own or as a 30-minute service with shampoo and style. The salon describes the treatment as requiring up to 10 sessions, about a week apart. Booth rentals are available; prospective renters are asked to contact the salon by phone or email.
