Vintage Rose Salon Suites

Vintage Rose Salon Suites works as a salon of suites. Each professional owns their own business inside the salon, so clients book with the individual who will be doing their service rather than with a single salon team.

The building dates to 1895, when Eugene Vogler constructed it, and it is recognized as a historical landmark in Auburn. It has served as a home, a store and an office before becoming a salon. Crystal Young bought and updated the building in 2014, and it is known locally as Old Blue.

The salon is open Monday through Saturday, based on availability. It is closed on Sundays unless a professional books that day. There is no receptionist onsite, so clients leave a message at the salon number, (530) 883-7673, and are called back. Three-hour street parking is available in front of the building, and a lot behind the building is reserved for guests and reached through College Way or the Chapel of the Hills parking lot.

Cancellations need 24 hours' notice to avoid a 50% service charge, and no-shows are charged the full price of the service. Cancellations must be made with the professional who is booked, since messages left at the salon number or by email do not cancel an appointment. Individual professionals set their own cancellation policies, so clients are asked to contact them directly for details.

Each professional works independently in a suite, and the salon says it aims to bring together experienced, educated service providers with a focus on clean beauty and expert care.
