Vine Studio is an independent hair studio in Lakewood. Its owner has worked in the hair industry for 13 years, including 11 with Aveda before opening an independent salon suite in Belmar.

The color menu runs from a gloss that refreshes tone and shine, to a mini custom color using 12 foils or fewer, to partial and full custom color and cut services with dimensional placement. Root color for previously colored hair is also offered. Haircuts, kids cuts for ages 10 and under, and blow-dry styling round out the menu, and most color and cut appointments include a deep conditioning or hair treatment and a blow-dry.

The NKST keratin treatment is a smoothing service that adds shine and reduces frizz and humidity effects. It is described as lasting up to five months and can be done the same day as a color service. Bookings are made in person, and buy now, pay later financing is available for in-person bookings from $50 to $4,000, with approval required before the appointment.

The studio is open Monday from 10 AM to 2 PM, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 AM to 7 PM, Friday from 9 AM to 2 PM, and Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM, and is closed Thursday and Sunday. A 20% cancellation fee applies to no-shows and to cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment. New clients booking custom color and cut services pay a $50 deposit, and new clients booking keratin treatment pay a $100 deposit.
