VIDA Y ALMA House of Beauty was founded by co-owners Erika Parada and Roxana Luevano, who opened the first location in Lynwood in late 2019. A second location later opened in Lakewood, at 5840 Adenmoor Ave.
The house is built around women's empowerment through beauty, along with self care, self love, appreciation and overall wellness. The space is meant to bring Latin culture, a sense of calm and a lively energy to every visit. Clients are encouraged to let go of daily stress during a treatment and to take time for themselves.
Hours are Monday through Friday from 10am to 7pm, Saturday from 9am to 5pm, and closed on Sundays. Gift cards are available for anyone shopping for someone else.
The house encourages clients to step away from their routine during a treatment and focus on rest and renewal. Its founders frame beauty as a route to self-worth and overall wellbeing.
