Bookings are made by a detailed email or text that includes your name, the date and time you want, and the style. Phone calls are not accepted, and requests can take up to 24 hours to receive a reply. New clients fill out a Hair Health Assessment covering hair history, texture and goals. Deposits are required at booking and are nonrefundable. For braided styles, the studio supplies the hair. Service times are estimates because every client's hair and head are different.

Listed prices are starting points, and cash payers can ask for a more precise estimate before the appointment. Some charges are added on top: colored hair adds $10 per color and must be discussed when booking, appointments outside regular hours or on Sundays and Mondays carry an extra 30% of the service price, and a shampoo-ready fee of $20 or more applies if hair is not combed out and sectioned into 4 to 5 plaits or twists before the visit.

Cancellations made up to 24 hours ahead, and reschedules made up to 24 hours ahead, carry no late fee. Same-day cancellations are charged 30% of the booked service to the card on file. A no-show is charged 50% of the service price 30 minutes after the start time and is not able to book again. Clients running late should call or text ahead, since calling at or after the appointment time cancels it. Late cancellation fees are paid through PayPal or Zelle, and cash, Zelle and debit or credit cards are accepted for payment. Gift certificates come in $500, $1,000, $1,500 and $2,000 amounts, are redeemable at time of service only, and never expire. Work is shared on Instagram under @Vibez.Beauty.Bar.

Each new client completes a Hair Health Assessment so the studio can learn about hair history, texture and goals before styling.
