VG Salon Studios

VG Salon Studios was founded by Valeria Porter, a Lawrenceville native, and the business is owned and run by a working beauty professional rather than a corporation. According to the salon, its owner went from cosmetology student to running a salon studio business in a short time. The salon describes itself as Lawrenceville's premier natural hair salon and private salon suite facility.

The business has two sides. Its natural hair services cover braids, sisterlocks, microlocs, silk press, loctician services and keratin treatments, with clients served across Gwinnett County. Its studio side rents private salon suites to salon studio owners and other beauty professionals.

Each appointment takes place in a private suite with one stylist and one client. Suites include a shampoo system, a mobile styling station, a mirror styling chair and a smart TV. Studios come furnished with a personalized workspace and a breakroom area, along with 24/7 access, free Wi-Fi, onsite laundry equipment and secured entry.

Studio renters set their own hours and, according to the salon, keep 100% of their earnings. Studio pricing and availability are provided on request through a form or by phone, and studio tours can be scheduled the same way.
