Every visit starts with a personalized consultation, so the stylist can put together a service and maintenance plan. Consultations look at porosity, density and curl pattern, and explain how those affect the cut and the care that is recommended. Some services, such as weaves, braids and Relaxers, require or strongly recommend a consultation before booking.

The salon's signature service is the Versus Curly Cut, which is cut dry in the hair's natural state, curl by curl. Other curl-focused options include the Ouidad, Cadō and REZOCUT cuts, along with curl transformation sessions that teach clients how to wash, style and diffuse their own curls. Curly cut prices depend on the stylist's experience and on hair length, density and cut complexity.

Color is offered for both straight and curly hair, with highlights and balayage painted freehand on individual curls. The salon also provides chemical services, keratin and anti-frizz treatments, protective styles, locs, and sew-ins, micro wefts and clip-ins. Services for children, bridal consultations and event styling are also available.

Versus Salon sells its own curl care line, V Curls by Versus, through its online shop. Clients who follow the Curly Girl Method are welcome, though following it is not a requirement for booking.

Each guest begins with a personal consultation to assess curl type, porosity and goals, then a care plan is built around the results. Curly and wavy hair is cut dry in its natural state rather than wet and straight.
