Velour Lash & Wax is a lash and brow studio on the second floor of a green building off 98th Ave NE in Kirkland. The building also houses several other small businesses. Natalie created the studio and works there as its solo artist, so she handles each appointment herself.
The menu covers brow, lash and waxing services. Brow options include brow mapping, lamination, and both a hybrid tint and a regular tint. A hybrid tint blends traditional brow dye with a henna-like stain, so it colors the skin under the brow hairs as well as the hairs, while a regular tint colors only the hairs. The Korean lash lift uses a cysteamine-based solution to lift lashes from root to tip, and a custom tint is applied after the lift. Waxing covers the face, underarms, bikini line, back, arms and legs. The studio describes its experience as curated.
Bookings are made through the studio's online scheduling platform. A valid card is needed to secure an appointment, and clients complete an intake form before their visit. Changes are requested at least 24 hours ahead. Cancellations inside that window, including same-day cancellations, and no-shows who do not get in touch carry a 50% fee. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may shorten the service or require rescheduling, and a 50% charge can apply. The studio may decline or adjust a service when recent chemical treatments, active irritation or unhealed cosmetic procedures make it unsafe. Clients get a confirmation email and a reminder 24 hours before. Guests are asked to wait in the designated area, and the shared lobby, with Allure Beauty Esthetics, has chairs for clients. Parking is free in the large lot the building shares.
Each appointment is tailored, with every step adjusted to the client's features, preferences and comfort, and results kept soft, subtle and natural-looking.
