It has three locations: Schererville, Crown Point and Valparaiso. Schererville has the widest menu, with hair, facials, makeup, waxing, massage, spa services, nails, lashes and injectables. Valparaiso offers hair, facials, makeup, waxing, injectables and dermaplaning, and Crown Point offers hair, facials and waxing.

A visit begins with a consultation at the chair, where the team reviews hair history, lifestyle and goals before any chemicals are applied. The total price is discussed and agreed before work starts, and the salon says it will state the cost before a client commits and give an honest time estimate when booking. Complimentary consultations are offered for color, skin, lashes, injectables and permanent makeup. Color, corrective and extension services are recommended to start with a consultation, and the salon can split a service across two or more visits when that is more realistic for the hair.

Hair work includes Keratin Smoothing Treatment, which the salon says lasts up to four months with sulfate-free shampoo care, along with Keratin Express, Milbon treatments and balayage or foilyage. Facials use Eminence Organic Skin Care and follow a set structure that includes skin analysis, a deep cleanse, exfoliation, extractions, facial massage and a treatment masque. HydroFacial services are offered at the Schererville location, and the Signature HydroFacial combines hydrotherapy, LED light therapy and a jelly mask. Permanent makeup brows and lip blushing are offered only at Valparaiso.

Vanis Academy is the salon's education program. It includes a paid apprenticeship for unlicensed candidates working toward the Indiana cosmetology license, and a Jr. Stylist track for already licensed cosmetologists. Apprentice appointments are offered on Mondays at Valparaiso and Schererville and are performed under the direct supervision of a master stylist.

Each visit starts with a consultation at the chair to review hair history, lifestyle and goals before any chemicals are applied. The salon says it can split services across visits when that is safer or more realistic for the hair.
