New clients can book a 20-minute consultation to talk through hair questions, maintenance and hair texture.

Listed hours are Monday from 12:30 PM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM. The salon is closed on Sundays. Booking requires a $53 deposit, made up of $50 toward the visit and a $3 service fee. The deposit is non-refundable, and an appointment is not confirmed until it is received. Clients booking color are asked to text their desired shade 72 hours before the visit. Most services include a full shampoo and conditioner. Arrivals get a 10-minute grace period, same-day cancellations are charged half the service price, and clients who miss an appointment without calling are not permitted to book future visits.

Color pricing rises for longer or thicker hair, and lace maintenance also carries an up charge. The color menu includes touch-ups covering up to two inches of new growth, a base full color, highlighting and a full color option for thick, long hair. Silk presses are tiered by how long it has been since the last service: returning clients fall into one tier, while new clients or hair not pressed in more than 12 weeks are placed in the highest tier, which includes deep conditioning, steam treatment and a trim or cut. Natural hair cuts are meant to be done on hair that has been blown out or pressed out.

Install and package services are set up in advance. Traditional and closure install package deals are pre-order only, and clients contact the salon after booking to confirm the date and pay the balance. Quick weaves are glue-free and last up to three to four weeks. Sew-in maintenance is recommended every three to four weeks. Special occasion styling covers photo shoots, birthdays, proms, date nights, anniversaries and weddings, including updos and curls.

The salon sells its own UpperHairchelon Luxury line, including a shampoo, conditioner, growth oil, edge control and a care kit bundling several items. Other items include silk bonnets, scrunchies and luxury extensions described as 100% human hair and ethically sourced. Returns are accepted only for defective or damaged items reported by email within seven business days of receipt, and shipping is limited to the United States.

Services are planned around a consultation and tiered pricing, so what a client books reflects how long it has been since their last service and the state of their hair.
