Upbeat Brows is owned by Dana, who works as both the studio's artist and its educator. The studio is small and private, and every appointment is one-on-one with a single artist, so clients always work with the same person from start to finish.

The menu centers on brow services: brow tinting, a signature wax, a wax with tint, a brow lamination that includes shaping, wax and an optional tint, and precision mapping to set the shape. Lash services include a lash tint for a darker, mascara-like finish and a YUMI keratin lash lift, with or without tint. Combination packages pair these together, and the most involved, the Premium Glow Up Transformation, covers brow mapping, lamination, waxing, tinting, a YUMI lash lift, lash tinting and aftercare in one 120-minute visit. The studio describes that package as a client favorite. Lip waxing is available as an add-on.

The studio says its goal is soft, natural-looking results with a lifted finish. It describes the YUMI lash lift as the original French keratin lash lift technique and says it brings that method to North County San Diego. Products used in the lash lift are YUMI's, and the Premium YUMI Lash Lift & Tint is described as suitable for many sensitive-eye clients after a consultation.

Booking is straightforward but has clear rules. Changes need at least 24 hours' notice; later changes and no-shows are charged a share of the service, with same-day cancellations, same-day reschedules and no-shows charged in full. Any outstanding balance must be cleared before a new appointment can be booked. Buy Now, Pay Later financing is available for in-person bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment. Open Wednesday through Saturday, 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
