The work centers on keeping hair healthy and helping it stay that way. Specialties listed include short hair in freestyle cuts, every hair length, and natural hair, and the site shows finished styles the stylist has done personally.

Visits begin with a required consultation before any service, which gives the stylist a chance to learn about the hair and the look a client wants. Appointments are preferred. Walk-ins are accepted, though they may not always fit into the day's schedule.

Brides can request a consultation for bridal hair. The salon also offers a range of treatments, including a smoothing and strengthening system and deep conditioning, hydration and protein treatments, and it sells the non-chemical products it uses on clients, with shipping available.

Payment is accepted in cash or by credit or debit card, and card payments carry a 3% fee. A missed appointment triggers an email notice and a no-show charge equal to the booked service, due before the next visit. Children are not permitted in the salon space because it is small; a lobby and break room are set aside for them.
