Two Toned

Two Toned is in Suite 26 of the Sola Salons building in Edgewater. The suite sits at the front left corner of the circular hall after entering, and the salon shares its shopping plaza with The All American Steakhouse and Fuji.

The service menu is grouped into cuts, color, foil and balayage lightening, party colors, Brazilian blowout treatments, and kids and family services. Some color work is planned across more than one visit. Color correction begins with an email that includes a current photo in natural light, a two-year color and chemical history, and a goal photo, and may take several sittings. Heavy foil work can also span more than one session.

Clients book through the salon's booking page, where they can also join a waitlist for a preferred time. Payments are accepted. Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000 and requires approval before the appointment. According to the salon, its booking site lists 334 reviews.

Booking policies are firm. No-show clients are charged the full scheduled service, and cancellations made less than 24 hours ahead may carry a fee. Clients who cancel more than once may lose the ability to pre-book and must call for a same-day slot instead. Gift cards come in $50, $75, $100 or $200 amounts or a custom value, and gift card sales are final.

Color is planned around each client's starting point. Correction work begins with a photo and a color and chemical history, and a root-to-end color changes tone or darkens without lightening more than one shade.
