Two of a Kind started as a pop-up and later grew into a full studio. It was founded by Jordan Feise and has two locations: 2305 Main Street in Santa Monica and 501 N Larchmont Blvd. in Los Angeles.

The studio's philosophy is that brows and lashes should enhance a person's natural features rather than overpower them. Every service begins with a consultation about the client's features, goals and preferences, and treatments are customized with natural-looking results in mind. The studio describes itself as detail-focused and points to press coverage from Byrdie, New Beauty, Rue Magazine, LA Magazine and Popsugar that praises its brow services.

Services are grouped into waxing, tinting, lamination, tweezing, touch-ups, lash tinting and lash lifts. Brow waxing uses a zinc oxide soft wax designed for sensitive skin, and brow tints are custom-blended. Combined visits bundle steps together: the Lamination + Tint is a 60-minute appointment that includes waxing, tinting and lamination with an aftercare mask. Lip or chin waxing can be added to any brow appointment for $10 per area. Lash tint results last around three to four weeks, and lash lift results last about six to eight weeks; the two can be combined.

The Santa Monica studio is open daily from 9am to 6pm. Parking nearby includes street parking, metered spots and a lot across the street. Full body waxing is not offered, and lash extensions are not offered either; the studio only does lash lifts and lash tints. Gift cards are available.

Some preparation is asked of clients. Those who use retinol are asked to stop at least three to five days before brow waxing, and clients who spray tan should wait at least 24 hours before brow appointments. The studio suggests waiting at least a day, or around two weeks, after Botox before shaping brows. A patch test is recommended before a lash tint, especially for anyone who has reacted to tints or dyes before. After a lash lift, clients should avoid water, steam and heavy sweating for the first 24 hours, and water-based mascara is recommended over waterproof once 24 hours have passed.

Each visit starts with a consultation about the client's features, goals and preferences, and services are customized so the results look natural.
