The business was rebranded from Tamahra's Secret to TS Skin Care in 2018 under owner Caroline Kent Yachan. It counts its history back to 1998 and marked 25 years in business in 2023. Its product formulas were inherited from Madame Tamahra, a French chemist and cosmetologist known for skin care products in Cuba.

Winter Park, Florida is where the company hand-makes its creams and lotions in limited runs. The formulas are botanical and cruelty-free, and contain no parabens, chemical preservatives, chemical emulsifiers, artificial colorants or synthetic fragrance. The company also wholesales its products to salons, spas and physicians' offices across the United States. Its natural acne line can be purchased online.

The acne program starts with a free 20 to 30 minute consultation, which can be done in person, by Zoom or FaceTime, or by phone, and new clients need one before booking a first appointment. The first acne visit runs about 2.5 to 3.5 hours and begins with a cleanse, around 30 minutes of herbal steaming with lavender, Turkish rose, calendula and chamomile, then extractions and a cooling antibacterial mask. Extractions are generally scheduled every two to four weeks, numbing cream is available, and each new client receives a personalized two to three month routine with morning and evening steps. Preliminary and progress photos are taken. A complimentary follow-up is booked about one to two weeks after the first treatment. The business describes its approach as holistic, looking at triggers, diet, supplements, hormonal testing and skin care strategy, without drugs, antibiotics or harsh chemicals. Treatments address acne, milia, rosacea, dark spots and back acne, with back acne booked separately, and cover the face, shoulders, neck and back. Pitted scars are referred to a medical doctor or dermatologist.

Beyond acne, the business offers a Signature Deep Pore Cleansing Treatment for new clients, a single session of about two to two and a half hours that includes a consultation, product recommendations, a dietary guideline review and a 30 minute follow-up. Returning clients can book a 120 minute version of that treatment, an 80 minute Pure Extraction Facial, or a 55 minute Express Extraction Facial limited to the nose and chin. The two extraction facials are by aesthetician recommendation only. Virtue RF microneedling uses a device with 36 gold-tipped needles and includes blue and red LED light, and a session of about two hours covers the face and neck after a prescription-strength numbing cream is applied. Sugaring is done with an organic paste and is offered as facial, full body or targeted sugaring, with sessions from about 15 minutes to an hour and a recommended interval of four to six weeks.

Practical details: the business is open Monday to Thursday and Saturday from 9 AM to 6 PM, Friday from 10 AM to 4:30 PM, and Sundays by appointment only. Free parking is available in front and in a back lot. It does not accept insurance but accepts Health Spending Account payments where applicable, offers 0% APR payment plans through Cherry, and requires a credit card number to hold an appointment.
