Hormones can be delivered as creams, gels, patches, injections or pellets. Pellets are about the size of a grain of rice and are placed under the skin, usually in the hip area. They are absorbed over roughly 3 to 6 months, cannot be taken out once placed, and extra pellets can be added. Pellet therapy costs slightly more than other delivery methods. For men, the practice says testosterone therapy may help some men with abnormally low testosterone with energy, focus and sexual function, but that it is not a cure for every problem, so lifestyle and psychological factors are checked first and levels are measured more than once before starting. People can book a visit to discuss whether they are a candidate. The practice also notes that testosterone declines by about 1% per year after age 30 to 40.
Aesthetic services include Botox Cosmetic, which insurance does not cover, and RF microneedling using INTRAcel RF. Before Botox, patients are asked to stop aspirin and anti-inflammatory medications two weeks ahead and avoid alcohol for a week. Botox is not given during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Results usually show within a few weeks and last about 3 to 6 months. RF microneedling typically takes 2 to 6 or more sessions, at least a month apart, and can be used on the face, neck, chest, arms, hands, abdomen, buttocks and legs. Makeup and vigorous exercise are avoided for 24 hours afterward, and the skin may feel warm for a few days.
Visits can include IV therapy, which starts with a check of nutrient levels to see which nutrients are suitable. Sessions run 15 to 90 minutes and are recommended at least once a week. Blood draws and lab work cost $220, and a complete hormone panel is $185 without insurance. A modest fee applies to mobile phlebotomy, which insurance does not cover. New patients have a free lab review one week after their first blood draw, in a 30 to 60 minute meeting, and established patients have free lab reviews. Telemedicine by phone or video covers treatment review, labs, questions and prescriptions for 30 minutes at $375, with a higher fee when controlled substances are prescribed.
For sports medicine and pain, PRP uses a sample of the patient's own blood, spun in a centrifuge for about ten minutes. It involves no anesthesia, though numbing cream is available on request, and there is no downtime. Exosome treatment for musculoskeletal or soft tissue is given as a series of five injections for $1,100. Pain management can include medication, a physical therapy referral and trigger point injections. The site also lists peptides, O shot, P shot and testosterone treatments.
Takes a measured, whole-person approach: hormone levels are checked more than once before therapy starts, and lifestyle and psychological factors are reviewed first.
