About

True Beauty LLC is a waxing studio in Valparaiso that works by appointment. Clients can book the times shown online or contact the business to ask about other times.

The studio describes its setting as professional, clean and free of judgment, which suits clients who are new to waxing as well as regulars. Leslie, a licensed esthetician, is the professional listed for the studio.

The menu covers the body, face and brows. Body services include underarm, back, full butt, inner thigh, and Brazilian waxes. The Brazilian wax has two options and covers the front, the labia and, optionally, a strip at the back. A bikini wax is available for tidying the area visible outside standard underwear. Face services include upper lip, chin and facial waxing, and brow waxing comes as a shaping option or a clean-up that does not include brow mapping.

Brow packages combine waxing with lamination and tinting. Brow Lami, Wax and Tint takes about 70 minutes and includes lamination, waxing and shaping, and tint, with results lasting 6 to 8 weeks. Brow Lami with Wax takes 60 minutes and omits the tint, with the same stated duration when cared for properly. Brow Tint with Wax is a 60-minute option.

Booking involves a deposit that is applied to the total. Some services require an $11 deposit for new clients, and lip waxing requires a $6 deposit. Cancelling or rescheduling within 24 hours of the appointment, or not showing up, forfeits the deposit. Payment is accepted by card, cash and Zelle. Buy Now, Pay Later is available for in-person bookings between $50 and $4,000, with approval needed before the appointment. Gift cards come in $50, $75, $100 and $200 amounts or a custom amount, and sales are final.

The studio aims for a professional, clean and judgment-free environment, with appointment-only booking and a deposit to hold each visit.

A professional, clean space meant to feel judgment-free.
