A visit typically begins with a consultation, either virtual or by phone for 30 minutes at $50 or in person for 30 minutes at $50, which includes a visual check of the hair and scalp. After booking, curly and potential curly clients receive a hair consultation form, and the salon contacts them with any questions. Each appointment includes education on the client's hair care needs and a tailored home care routine, and styles are shaped around the client's everyday life.

New clients can choose from several starting packages, including a curly cut with a curl deep cleanse and bond-building treatment, or a curly cut with curl definition. Existing clients can book curly cut and define services, reshaping, hydration and conditioning, or a maintenance cut. Natural hairstyles include flat twists, finger coils, natural updos, and blowouts with a hydration treatment. Color services are available, and single color services and full color highlights require a color consultation first.

According to the salon, its stylists hold continuing-education credentials covering curly cutting and curly highlighting techniques.

Appointments are reserved with a credit card, which is not charged at booking or for final payment. Changes or cancellations within 48 hours of the start time may be charged 50% to 100% of the service, and no-shows are charged the full service. Clients who need to reschedule because of late arrival are charged a $35 late fee. Clients should contact the salon within 24 hours if they are unhappy with a service; refunds are not offered, but a redo may be discussed.
