The founders developed the Resculptor microcurrent machine after discovering microcurrent facials in Europe. The Beyond Microcurrent Facial uses that device and has been offered for more than 20 years, according to the brand. The brand says the Resculptor is exclusive to this New York spa.
The skincare line was created to meet what clients at the spa wanted from more potent treatments. Marius Morariu, co-founder and CEO, also formulates the products. They are described as nutrition-inspired, free of sulfate detergents, phthalates and other petrochemicals, and not tested on animals. Facials use the line throughout, and the brand states the products are suitable for all skin types and ages.
Treatments and consultations are done in person by the spa's aestheticians, whom the spa says each have more than 15 years of experience with extractions. A two-minute online skincare quiz suggests products for visitors who want help choosing. Booking is by phone or text.
The brand has received press coverage, with quotes attributed to Allure and Harper's Bazaar, and it describes its skincare as celebrity-approved. Forbes is quoted calling the Resculpting Facial a favorite among Hollywood clients. The brand also states that it has been featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show, which Tracie Martyn and Marius Morariu appeared on in 2004.
