Pacific Touch NYC was founded in 2009 and describes itself as a holistic and integrative skincare haven for acne-prone people. Its founder, Nichola, set out to help clients read the messages their skin sends and find the reasons behind breakouts. The business says its results are proven for acne-prone skin, and its stated goal is skin freedom: feeling comfortable and confident in your own skin.
A visit starts with a thorough skin health intake that covers lifestyle as well as physical and mental well-being. From that, the team builds a customized plan for the 90-Minute Pacific Touch Method Facial, which can draw on deep cleansing, exfoliation massage, extractions, high frequency, enzymes, corrective peels, LED light therapy, serums, treatment masks and microcurrent. Appointments can be in person or virtual.
Between visits, clients receive recommendations, resources, testing options and personalized homework to continue care at home. Follow-up support includes email care, weekly virtual office hours and access to a private Facebook group. Several acne specialists hold their own virtual office hours on different days of the week for skincare questions.
Online booking covers individual appointments, group appointments, packages and gift cards. The online shop carries an Acne Safe skincare collection along with several serums, masks and cleansers, and orders placed on Monday, Wednesday or Friday are processed that day. Because formulas change, it suggests rechecking main products about every six months, and recommends that people who are highly acne-prone yet still breaking out check the skincare, haircare and makeup they use daily.
Treats breakouts as signals to be understood, combining a personalized plan with education and ongoing support so clients can keep caring for their skin at home.
