Extension hair must come from one of four recommended brands, and Lux Hair Boutique is the owner's own line. Hair bought from Amazon or TikTok Shop is not accepted, and appointments booked with it are canceled on arrival.

Appointments are required and walk-ins are not accepted. A consultation must be booked before any color service. All services include a professional shampoo and blow-dry. Extra guests are not permitted, and children are welcome only when they are receiving a service. A $15 late fee applies after 15 minutes late, and arriving more than 15 minutes late may bring a $25 fee or cancellation. A no-call, no-show blocks future bookings. Gift cards and service packages are available, and Booksy Pay and Klarna are accepted.

The one-on-one classes include a traditional sewin class of about four and a half hours, priced at $850 with hair and tools included, where $400 is paid up front and the balance is due on the class date. A silk press class runs about three and a half hours and can use a model if requested in advance. A shorter Style Like a Pro class of about an hour covers layers and styling.

Hours are Tuesday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Wednesday 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Thursday 8:00 AM to 8:45 PM, Friday 8:00 AM to 6:45 PM, and Saturday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:15 PM to 9:00 PM.
