Tone + Medium, LLC

Tone + Medium began as BrowSpell Microblading. Over time the services grew beyond microblading, and the business took on its current name.

The studio is at 9454 Kenwood Rd, Suite 1, on the second floor of a building shared with UDF, behind UDF. To find it, turn onto Hunt Road and park in the Town Square lot. Tone + Medium operates from within Head2Toe Salon at that address.

Services are by appointment only. Cosmetic tattooing covers brows, lips, and henna, and tattoo work includes custom designs and coverups. Custom designs and coverups need a $100 deposit, which can be paid through PayPal or Venmo or with a card on file in the booking app. Drawings take about one week, and the deposit is forfeited if the client does not book within 30 days of the drawing being completed.

Clients must be at least 18 and bring ID for tattooing; parental consent is not accepted. Anyone who has had cosmetic tattooing done elsewhere needs a consultation before booking. New clients without prior cosmetic tattooing can choose a phone consultation, an in-person consultation, or go straight to an appointment. Virgin skin tattoos with a finished design can be booked without a consultation.

Booking and payment run through Vagaro, which requires an account and a credit card on file. Vagaro Pay Later can split a payment over time at checkout, subject to an application, and Cherry financing is available for up to $10,000 with a soft credit check and a 0% APR option subject to approval.

The business publishes aftercare instructions for brows and lips, covering washing, ointment use, and lip touch-up timing of 6 to 8 weeks. It also sells a small line of skincare and aftercare products. According to testimonials on its site, clients describe the work as professional and thorough.
