The salon is appointment only. New color clients start with a free consultation to talk through goals, upkeep, pricing and availability, and it can be done in person or by text. For a text consult, clients send a current hair photo, their color history and a goal image to the booking number, 646-399-6873. Every cut includes a consultation with the stylist, and clients are encouraged to bring a picture of the cut or style they want and to book several weeks ahead. Clients who arrive five to ten minutes late are usually still seen; later arrivals may have their service shortened or moved. Pricing is set by hair length and desired style rather than by gender. Corrections and tweaks to a cut or color are free for seven days, with the same stylist. The salon prefers clients aged 12 and up.

Haircut options run from above the shoulder or short styles up through shoulder, long and extra long lengths, with add-ons for hot-tool styling, wash and dry, and bang trims, bang cuts or undercuts. Color covers single process, root touch-ups, double process, highlights, Teasylite, balayage and ombre, along with blonde work. Olaplex can be added to color, and the salon sells an Olaplex take-home weekly treatment for $28. Creative color includes vivid, pastel and custom mixed shades. The salon recommends a root touch-up every six to nine weeks for double process and every two to four months for balayage. It does not offer triple processing, which means two bleach treatments in one day. Clipper designs, straight razor shaves and beard trims are not offered, and trims alone are not discounted, since the time and effort are the same regardless of length removed.

Hours run from noon to about 7:00 on weekdays and from noon to about 6:00 on weekends. Guests can use a vending machine stocked with snacks and energy drinks and browse a selection of magazines. Restrooms include a multi-stall room and a single-occupancy, non-gendered restroom down the hall. The closest subway stop is Morgan Avenue on the L train.

Pricing is based on hair length and desired style rather than gender, and new color clients consult before any double process, highlights or balayage.
