Toile & Bubble Westshore

The business started as a home soap-making project, and its first soap was called Baby Oatmeal. Handcrafted soaps were first sold at local farmers markets. The name draws on a Shakespeare line and on toile-print paper used to wrap soap, and 'toile' is pronounced 'toil'.

The first day spa opened in 2020. The founder trained as a licensed esthetician after learning about skin care from customers, and the business says it was started with health in mind. It describes its service as superior and personalized.

The Foothills location in Marble Hill is a spa with a boutique salon, offering hair and nail services. Hair services include cuts, color, styling and makeup, and nails include manicures and pedicures. Hours there are Tuesday through Saturday, 9am to 5pm.

The Westshore spa and boutique inn in Cumming sit steps apart, just off Marketplace Boulevard and reached from Exit 15 off GA-400. Cumming City Center is about two miles away, and YAVA Kitchen & Brewhouse is within walking distance. The inn has five suites, including King Suites and a Double Queen Suite. Westshore hours are Wednesday to Friday 10am to 6pm, Saturday 9am to 5pm, and Sunday 12pm to 6pm.

Spa services can be booked online through the business website. Hot tub, sauna and steam room access is included with a booked spa service, and the hot tub sits inside the on-site spa rather than in guest rooms. Boutique Inn guests receive 10% off spa services booked during their stay, and treatments are recommended to be reserved when the room is booked.

Some enhancements have rules. Hand and foot enhancements are added to a massage or facial rather than booked alone. Facial enhancements such as LED, microdermabrasion and radio frequency are only available with a 30- or 60-minute facial. First-time hair clients, or those making a big change, are asked to book a 15-minute hair consultation, and hair prices are estimates that can change after the consultation. Enzyme and chemical peels require an esthetician consultation first. Peel series are recommended as six peels spaced two to four weeks apart, with up to two series per year, and peels are not recommended for sensitive skin.

Each package is offered subject to availability and includes gratuity; inn tax is added on top of the listed price. The Escape package is listed at $495 plus inn tax and covers an overnight stay in a King Suite, a 100-minute Escape Experience, spa access, and a $25 YAVA credit. For two guests, the Signature Spa Stay is listed at $595 plus inn tax and provides a night in a King Suite, a pair of 60-minute Signature Massages, spa access, and a $50 YAVA credit. The Celebrate Stay, listed at $995 plus inn tax for up to four people, includes a night in a Double Queen Suite, four 60-minute Signature Massages, spa access, and a $100 YAVA gift card. Finally, the Toile & Bubble Retreat is listed at $1,595 plus inn tax for two and spans two nights in a King Suite, with two 90-minute Custom Massages, two 60-minute Traditional Facials, spa access on both days, a $100 YAVA gift card, chocolates, roses, and late checkout.

Gift baskets and gift cards are sold, and gift cards can be used toward spa and beauty services. Checkout uses the Square payment platform. The business also takes service and product suggestions through an online suggestion box.
