The studio is built around education. Each visit starts with a detailed consultation about hair history, lifestyle and goals, and the business aims to leave clients able to understand and care for their hair at home. Clients receive an estimate before any service begins, along with home care and maintenance recommendations at the end of the appointment. The suite is described as relaxed, warm, clean and welcoming, and appointments are kept unhurried.
Haircutting is the main focus. The business holds that a transformational haircut has more impact than a transformational color, and cuts are designed around face shape, bone structure, hair type and lifestyle. Most haircuts include a scalp massage and a professional blow-dry and style. Color runs from glosses and root work to custom dimensional blonde or brunette looks, and the studio helps clients set realistic expectations for color results.
Many services can be booked online, but some need approval or a consultation first, and availability for new clients varies. Color consultations are required for new clients before any color service. Color corrections are billed at $150 per hour with a three-hour minimum, cannot be booked online, must follow a consultation, and often take several sessions. Cancellations and reschedules need at least 48 hours notice, and clients who miss an appointment without notice can no longer book future visits. Children should not attend unless they are receiving a service. The studio is open Tuesday through Thursday from 10 AM to 6 PM and Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, and is closed Monday, Saturday and Sunday. Professional haircare, styling tools and supplements are sold in the suite, and eGift cards are available in set amounts or a custom amount.
