The salon describes itself as a Brazilian specialist and offers sugar hair removal from head to toe, along with full body waxing. Sugaring is rolled onto the skin and removed in a flicking motion that lifts hair from the root; the salon says it gives the same result as waxing, often with less irritation. Waxing uses a soft wax that the salon describes as clean-ingredient, high-quality and friendly to sensitive skin. The Brazilian and bikini wax contains coconut, so clients with a coconut allergy are asked to choose sugar. Brazilian sugaring uses a room-temperature paste made from sugar, lemon and water.
Brows and lashes are a large part of the menu. Brows can be tinted with a semi-permanent vegetable dye blended for each client, or stained with a henna brow stain that the salon describes as all natural, plant-derived and peroxide free. Brow lamination reshapes and sets the brow hair with a perm solution for a fuller look, and lasts 4 to 6 weeks with proper care. Brow tweezing is available for clients who cannot have wax or sugar. Lashes can be lifted, which sets a curl lasting 6 to 8 weeks without extensions, or tinted for up to 4 weeks.
Holistic facials are customized treatments that use a range of techniques together with an aromatherapy massage, and are intended to leave the skin pH balanced. Makeup artistry is also offered. For brow lamination and brow waxing, clients are asked to stop retinol, vitamin C and other active ingredients 24 to 48 hours beforehand, and to stop them 24 hours before and after face waxing or sugaring. Brows should be kept dry for 24 hours after tinting or henna staining.
