Third Coast Aesthetics is a waxing-focused beauty studio in New Berlin, Wisconsin. Carley opened it in January 2020 as Third Coast Wax, with speed waxing at the center of the business. It later moved into a much larger space and brought in other estheticians from the area, so the studio is now a shared team where each esthetician runs their own business.

About

The studio describes itself as a fun and welcoming place for all clients, with a fresh, modern feel where estheticians work and clients feel at home. Guests are encouraged to bring their own individuality and style. The salon says its quality is East Coast standards with a West Coast feel, that it is exclusive to products it considers high quality, and that its pricing is affordable.

Waxing is the main draw. Only ItalWax is used, which the salon notes is GMP certified and made with high-end raw materials. The salon says almost every wax, Brazilians included, takes 15 minutes or less. Hair should be about a quarter inch long, and clients should not trim before the appointment. Clients on their period can book a Brazilian and are asked to wear a tampon, menstrual disc, or cup. A minor's first wax needs a parent or guardian present to sign liability waivers, and children can come along for short services if they stay in the room.

Lash appointments follow a few set rules. Full sets take about two hours and fills are recommended every two weeks. Lash artists do not tape eyes open; only the bottom lashes are taped down. A lash patch or placement test is available on request and requires extra liability forms. A first fill to correct another artist's work carries an added charge. Facials range from 30-minute express services to a 75-minute Third Coast Signature Facial, with 60- and 90-minute buccal options for longer visits.

Booking asks for at least 12 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Later cancellations are charged 50% of the service cost, and no-call, no-show appointments are charged in full. Missed appointments can be rebooked within 7 days with the charge credited to the new service. Guests arriving more than 10 minutes late may pay a $15 fee and may have their service shortened, and chronically late guests may be asked to prepay.
