THESA is short for The Silver Aesthetic. The name draws on the owner's surname, Prak, which means silver in Khmer. Sierha created the studio as a place where skincare, beauty and self-care come together, and it sits at 763 Market St in Downtown Tacoma.

About

The studio is open Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. It is closed Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. Services run from facials and brow work to waxing, sugaring and permanent jewelry, with lash services in between.

The Cosmic Polish is a full dermaplane facial that includes a double cleanse, dermaplaning, facial massage, a mask and finishing products. A shorter Cosmic Mini Polish covers the cleanse, dermaplaning and finishing products for a quicker visit.

Lash extension fills are recommended every two to three weeks. A fill booked within 14 days of the last visit runs about an hour, while a fill after more than 14 days takes about 75 minutes. Clients whose lashes were done by another artist can book an outside fill, which includes extra time and a short consultation. Extension removal is also offered.

Waxing covers the Brazilian, bikini, legs, underarms and lip. Sugaring is available for Brazilian, bikini, lower leg and underarm. Brazilian and bikini services are offered to clients with female anatomy only. Brazilian Maintenance is for established clients returning within 42 days of a previous Brazilian; anyone whose last Brazilian was done elsewhere, or who is 43 or more days past their last appointment, needs to book a standard Brazilian.

Sierha aims for every client to leave feeling comfortable, cared for and refreshed.
