The Yoga Spa was co-founded by RussAnn Anderson and Anslea Steele, who are both founders and owners. Before opening, the founders toured yoga, spa and fitness facilities in Edmond and north Oklahoma City and did not find a single place that addressed overall well-being, so they set out to combine those offerings. The business describes itself as a holistic health and wellness center, created in response to a need for more accessible health resources in Oklahoma, and it serves guests from across the Oklahoma City metro area.

About

Yoga is offered every day at a range of levels, including aerial, restorative, vinyasa flow and deep stretch, along with heated Flow plus Sweat and Flow plus Sculpt classes and private sessions. Most classes are heated between 74 and 80 degrees, while Flow plus Sweat runs hotter. Mats can be borrowed and most equipment is provided. Doors lock when class begins, so the business encourages arriving early. Clothing is required for yoga, workshops and the community sauna, while the individual sauna pod, red light cabin and cold plunge are used without clothes.

The spa menu covers massage, including Signature, Lomi Lomi, prenatal, migraine relief, lymphatic drainage and specialty work such as craniosacral and Thai yoga massage. Facials are performed with Eminence Organic Skin Care, and the business also offers hydrafacials, a Japanese head spa that uses Innersense Organic Beauty hair care, enzyme rejuvenating body sculpting and cellulite contouring wraps, and waxing done with Mermaid Wax. Brow and lash services, a foot spa and Reiki in 30 and 60 minute sessions round out the menu. Massage and facials are performed by licensed professionals. The wellness center offers infrared sauna, lymphatic roller, HaloRed light therapy and vibration plate sessions, which are self-led with staff on hand, and guests are offered a robe.

Sound baths are offered, including floating sessions in a silk hammock.

Hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 7:00pm, Saturday from 9:00am to 4:00pm, and Sunday for yoga classes only. Spots are limited for most services, so booking in advance is recommended. Clients are asked to arrive 15 minutes before an appointment. Monthly memberships require automatic payment and a 90-day minimum commitment.
