The Wax Studio has been operating for about ten years, according to its owner. It is a small, owner-run studio in Gilroy, and the owner is a licensed esthetician.

Services fall into three groups: brows, lashes and waxing. Brow options run from a simple shape to lamination, with tint or an eye mask as add-ons. Lash lifts are offered with or without tint. Waxing covers the face, arms, legs, underarms, back and intimate areas, with several Brazilian combinations that add cheeks, lower back, inner thigh, a happy trail or a customized HydroJelly mask.

Booking requires 48 hours' notice for cancellations, and last-minute cancellations are charged the full service fee. No-shows are charged the full amount for all missed services and lose the option to rebook. Extra guests and children are not permitted in the studio, and clients are asked to wait outside until five minutes before their appointment. The waiting room has limited seating. Gift cards are available for purchase.

The studio is open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and is closed Sunday and Monday. Bookings and questions can be sent by text to 408-612-5185 or by email to gilroywaxstudio@gmail.com.
