The Wax Parlor specializes in hair removal through waxing. It has a location in Hamilton, inside Honey Laine on Eureka Drive, and a location in Oxford on South Beech Street.

Bookings are taken by location. The Hamilton location accepts bookings on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and the Oxford location on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Listed hours are 9 AM to 8 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 AM to 2 PM on Fridays and 9 AM to 4 PM on Sundays, with the salon closed Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. The salon describes its environment as clean, and only one client is allowed inside at a time unless a minor is accompanied.

Every service uses an unscented, hypoallergenic, cruelty-free hard wax. Before an appointment, clients are asked to let hair grow to at least half an inch and to avoid shaving, waxing or trimming for three to four weeks.

Booking rules are firm. Schedule changes, cancellations and reschedules need 24 hours' notice, and arrivals more than 10 minutes after the appointment time may be cancelled or rescheduled. Late cancellations are charged 25% of the service total and no-shows 50%, both non-refundable. Photography and video are not permitted. Brazilian services are for adults 18 and older only, and clients under 18 may book only facial or underarm waxing, accompanied by a consenting parent or legal guardian.

Uses one unscented, hypoallergenic, cruelty-free hard wax for every service, with prep guidance on hair length and timing before each visit.
