Every stylist goes through the salon's associate program, regardless of prior experience. It adds 6 to 9 months of training on top of their existing background. Associates work alongside trainers, attend monthly classes, take online classes and certifications, and must test out of each service subject. All associates are fully licensed in Missouri. The salon says the program produces stylists with the equivalent of 3 to 4 years of experience, and credits it for the team's consistently high baseline quality.
