The Cut + Color area lets clients book directly with the independent artist they choose, while the Blow Dry Bar runs on its own scheduling system. Walk-ins are welcome when the schedule allows, but booking ahead is recommended, especially for weekends and holidays. Guests can have something to drink during their appointment.

The Blow Dry Bar covers signature blowouts, smoothing blowouts, beach waves, dry styling, special event hair and professional finishing. A traditional blowout includes a shampoo, conditioning and a blow-dry shaped to the hair and the chosen finish, which can be smooth, voluminous, softly waved or polished. A standard blowout takes about 45 minutes, and timing shifts with hair length, density, texture and finish. Dry styles, waves and updos are best done on clean, completely dry hair.

Cut + Color brings together precision, long, short and transformational haircuts, bang trims, dimensional color, balayage, blonding, highlights, gloss and toner, color correction and hair extensions. Extensions are offered only with select artists and may need a consultation first. A consultation is also recommended before a major color change, corrective color, or any service that may take several sessions. Each artist sets their own specialties, pricing, schedule and booking policies.

Bridal hair, bridal makeup and bridal party services are offered, and the bridal team accepts a limited number of weddings each season. Wedding dates are held with a signed agreement and a retainer, and final payment is due 30 days before the wedding. On-site bridal services are available across Northern California with a four-service minimum and travel fees, and some require a preview appointment of about 1.5 hours per service.

Cancellations or changes more than 5 hours before an appointment carry no fee. Changes within 5 hours incur a $35 fee, and cancellations within 2 hours or no-shows are charged the full scheduled service. Late arrivals have a 15-minute grace period. Completed services are nonrefundable, and prepaid blowout series, including promotional ones, are final sale. Cut + Color artists set their own refund, cancellation and late-arrival policies. The shop also sells haircare, styling tools, combs and brushes, and supplements through an online store, with local delivery within 5 miles of the salon, and offers gift cards.

Treatments and products are chosen around each client's hair, and a consultation is suggested before major color changes, corrective color or multi-session work.
